As a county East Devon County Netball Association covers East Devon, Exeter, Mid Devon, North Devon, Teignbridge, Torbay, Torridge and parts of South Hams & West Devon. However all players born, living or at a school or club in any part of Devon are eligible to participate in the activities of East Devon.
In line with England Netball ruling (2008) all talented U14 & U16’s need to be playing in a club participating in a local/county junior league for the possibility of qualifying for County/Regional competition. There will be no county trials or county squads. Please see the EDCNA - Club & League Contacts - Juniors sheet for details of a club near you.
In addition to supporting and offering competitive opportunities the County also run two U14 Satellite Academies and a County Academy in conjunction with West Devon. These academies are aimed at talented individuals who have been identified by Coaches, teachers or talent scouts. These academies align to the Regional Talent Programme and the England Netball Excel Framework.
